A handmade, limited edition lino print depicting two Swans swimming amidst stylized aquatic plants.
I was inspired by watching Swans and their graceful forms on water. I also wanted to create a decorative design that referenced the tile designs of William De Morgan, an artist I love. Both Swans are gliding away in opposite directions, connected by a stylized aquatic plant tendril, thus joining the shapes and creating a sense of balance.
Printed in rich Prussian Blue ink on Fabriano Rosaspina archival paper. Part of an edition of 25.
