A two colour limited edition linoprint titled 'The Three Comets'. 

Each one is  printed as two separate blocks in a selection of colours. Available here is gold on light aqua blue.
Oil based ink is used, on heavyweight Fabriano Rosaspina paper. This is a variable edition which means there are a few different colour combinations of this print. The gold is metallic so shines in ambient light, so I've filmed this outdoors in the sun to illustrate. Printed as an edition of 50.

Named after the three comets of 1618 which saw three arrive in the same year causing much debate and concern. Each comet has been created from medieval depictions of comet events, and scientific illustrations.

Each print is signed and dated with 'E.V.' (meaning edition variable) and a edition number.
