The Song of Foxes and Comets Giclee Print

A fine art print of 'The Song of Foxes and Comets' original print collage. Printed on thick textured archival paper. 

Titled after the summer that I fed a family of foxes daily, and watched them grow and play outside my studio window. The Vixen would bring her cubs to tumble around my plants and flowers at certain times each day until they began to venture out independently. They obviously all felt safe, and I kept my distance, but it was a joy to experience this. At this time there was talk of a green comet orbiting the earth, and it felt like a little magical time after the isolation of covid. I've imagined them all together, a joyful song in the warmth of summer.

The original collage has been made with a combination of paste paper (a technique where flour and water is mixed with pigment to create textures) and my original linoprints which I have cut out with a scalpel. *Please note that this is a print of the collage, not the original. 

A giclee print is a high quality archival print of an original artwork. This means that they can be offered at a lower price to the original work. The original piece is either photographed or scanned and printed at a specialist printers onto high quality paper. Giclee prints do not fade with time and are printed on acid free/ph neutral paper.

The print will be titled, signed and dated in the border under the image. Posted in a secure cardboard package.
