Printed on heavyweight Fabriano Rosaspina 280gsm paper, in black oil based ink. A good quality print, it is just slightly lighter than solid black..
The image depicts an anatomical human heart covered and protected by an array of flowers from an English garden: calendula, lily of the valley, roses, lavender and ferns. A wren sits at the top, singing it's heart out.
An ode to summer, love, and the power of nature to heal and comfort.
