Super Seconds festival listing: Gothic inspired linoprint (dark red and gold)

Super Seconds Festival is when artwork listed as 'seconds' or test prints are sold at a reduced rate. This print edition has not yet been printed as an edition.

This was a test print. There is a very slight part of under-inking on the bottom left and right which is not very noticable. Also a small dot on the left outside border. The gold layer is less saturated with ink as it was printed when the deep red layer was slightly damp, this means that the gold appears less reflective, so the price is reduced more. Please refer to the photograph.

A two colour handcarved linoprint depicting a gothic and tarot card inspired image. the background block was printed first with the gold detail block ontop. This was created for a musician with a view to it being used as promotional material.  Each one is printed on my Hawthorn press.

Printed in a rich deep red and metallic gold oil based ink on 280gsm Fabriano Rosaspina.

Dimensions: 34 cms x 35 cms

Each print titled, dated and signed in pencil underneath the image.

Sent second class postage in a strong hard backed envelope.
