CASE STUDY
Anthropologie Sleepwear
Anthropologie print design studio contacted me to see if I was interested in collaborating on a pyjama set for their new season. I love Anthropologie so I instantly said yes!
The brief was for a whimiscal nature based design, and I was sent a moodboard of ideas with examples of my linoprints and collages that they liked.
After finalising which designs were to be used, I sent off digital files of the prints and collages.
The repeat patterns were created in-house by the Anthropologie print design team, and I was sent visual mock ups of each colourway, garment and pattern. Final decisions were then made on which would go into production and a nightdress, pyjama set, shorts and bag were made. The set was launched as part of Anthropologie's 2022 winter collection.
I was involved in each stage of the process, and was so happy with the end result!
Sleepwear Inspiration
The main inspiration for the design came from my collages. The Spring Hare design was created from cutting out linoprints and creating a composition of florals and comets. A barn owl and running hare also feature from a collage, along with my Firework of Ferns gold linoprint, featuring curled fern heads and a moth amongst the stars.
